It started when Mrs. Smothers came into my shop and encouraged me to duplicate her existing bag (the originals were made in deerskin). I was unsure of myself back then because I only worked with stiff, thick leathers at that point. She changed my ways! Bag is soft and slouchy and ties closed at the top.
