Carefully scrape any old gasket off both surfaces using a razor being careful to not gouge the metal and create a leak point. Apply a thin FILM of RTV silicone to both surfaces and stick gasket to one of the surfaces. You DO NOT want enough silicone that you see any bulge out or it can dislodge and get into the transmission just a
