This is the first one of these we've had and after testing we can report that the variable speed control on this model gives access to a full range of phasing between the Slow and Fast settings (so it effectively overrides the switches)

The versatile mix options that allow adjustment of the balance between echo and spring

but the Simmons has some cool tricks up its sleeve: trigger it with audio and it lets some of the original trigger signal through - great for adding depth
