Because it is clear, you can easily follow a line drawn on the fabric such as a dart or following shapes drawn for making turn and stitch appliques. Plus, line up stitching to match previous stitching such as when repairing a seam. While many people use an Open Toe Foot for this purpose, it is not the best choice when sewing utility stitches on medium to
