Large Scandinavian Mid-Century Stoneware Bowl by Thomas Toft, Denmark Lightning This chair is marked withBig oblong low stoneware bowl or centerpiece made in Denmark. Created by Danish ceramist Thomas Toft in the 1950s or 1960s. It has a glazed inside and a rough textured exterior. The rough dark brown chamotte clay on the outside contrasts with the shiny glaze on the inside of the bowl. It shows a hand painted geometrical design with botanical inspirations.
