The GOAT 7075 is probably the best wedge I've used for three reasons:1 - It has two perpendicular holes drilled in it to reduce weight and maximize marrying options

but the latch-mechanism still work just fine

the K does still does a good job of pulling rim and mortise cylinders

this new Vulcan LED is both about a third of the weight and much brighter than those old big boy boxlights we've got on the truck right now

Invented in 1972 by FDNY firefighter (and licensed locksmith) William McLaughlin, the K Tool was the first commercially produced through the lock tool made specifically for firefighters. While we'd recommend the S&D Rex or one of the other Rex Tools (also made by Fire Hooks Unlimited) over the K Tool, the K does still does a good job of pulling rim and mortise cylinders.
