It was named by Bill Meyer in the late memory of Hosta lover hybridizer Jim Hawes. This Hosta is medium in size with leaves that emerge bright yellow chartreuse in the spring and fades into a lime like chartreuse color (that never turns to green) throughout the remainder of the season.
