The C-r-l-e Column Winchelsea Smith Square is regarded as'The C r l e Column', 1821. Queen Caroline (depicted non satirically) wearing Bergami's miniature stands on the column's summit. On the column are five scenes relating to incidents (mainly amorous) from Caroline's travels.
