Early Walter Lamb Bronze & Canvas Double Wide Patio Chaise Lounge dining woven in a multi-strand basketLate 1940s or early 1950s double patio lounge chair by Walter Lamb predating his partnership with Brown Jordan. The wide chaise lounge is rendered in thick bronze tubing with a canvas sling seat laced tightly to the frame with sailcord. Its armrest draws a serpentine curve from the backrest to the front edge of the piece. A bent runner mirrors the arched lines of the seat to form the rear support.
