Summer Summit was inspired by my many visits to the beautiful Victorian countryside near my home in Melbourne

This painting was inspired by the Australian native Eucalyptus tree with its delicate flowers and has beautiful texture and expressive individual brushstrokes that bring it to life

I simply love it’s unique structure and here I have painted it to reflect the colours of the softly setting sun with contrasting splashes of Santorini blue
