Karl Blosfeldt Framed Photograph import_2022_02_24_201757 quoted in a 1937 LIFEPhotogravure print of a Karl Blosfeldt photo, from his 1929 series Urformen der Kundt (Art Forms in Plants). Blosfeldt was a pioneer in macro photography, magnifying his subjects up to 30x their normal size. In doing so, he was able to display the abstract and architectural shapes of plants.
