From afar it has the appearance of parasisal straw but costs a fraction of the price. Visca is naturally floppy as it comes un stiffened so will benefit from a buckram under base or a good amount of stiffening. This cone has such a good sheen to it and is very likely to date from the 1970s 80s as we got it from a big vintage lot of hat bodies. It's such a treat and worth
