Signed & dated in ink in the center of the wreath: "Rachel G. Gilpin, Baltimore 1845." The work has been archival mat with a beveled linen surround and fitted in a UV filtering plexiglass box frame. American, Baltimore, 1845. Condition: Marks, stains, fading, and areas of damage and repair. Overall lovely patina. Wear
