Felix learned to make mezcal when he started working with another mezcalero in Minas when he was 16 years old. By the time he turned 19 years old, hed established his own palenque, with 3 wooden fermentation vats, and 2 clay pots for distillation. Eventually, his brothers began making mezcal with him and the palenque expanded, taking on the
