They secure to the camera with nylon straps that you loop through the cameras hardware and then tuck the buckles through to form a snug secure connection. The pad leather is oiled honey brown with dark brown lining leather. The straps are made with natural vegetable tanned leather and given a clear coat on the edges. This leather will build a gorgeous patina with age. Length 36"
