Pair of Antique Spurs from Peru - Spur589 14th "Patent no 5562" and "PelThis is a matched pair of spurs made of silver coloured metal. Both sides of both spurs have finely cast decoration in a feather pattern. Their necks have the characteristic tulip shape of Peruvian spursThey have large steel sixteen pointed rowelsThe rowels turn freely. Each arm of the heel band ends in a decorated oval slot for straps. The old leather straps have embroidered decoration. Their buckles are decorated in the same pattern as the spurs and
