Wound glass beads, made in Venice, traded in Africa. Mid to late 1800's. 46 beads, 12 to 19mm. Extra mark down due to chipping. A very charming strand with several chipped and pockmarked beads. These are called "King" beads as it is said they were worn by African Kings or Chiefs. African Item 0728
