This bit has a half twisted or reversible straight mouthpiece. Both cheeks turn, they have their original victorian curb hooks. One cheek is stamped "Sowter" & the other "Haymarket". The company of Sowter operated from this address from 1848. A good quality Victorian Pelham with little wear.
