Antique Ladies Sidesaddle Riding Whip with Ornate Gilt Mounts - w1758 mans Ref: cav070This is a very light fine whip dating from the mid to late 19th century. Its gilt cap and collar have deeply cast foliate decoration with scrolling acanthus leaves. Between the cap and collar, the grip is covered in finely braided black thread or possibly horsehair.
