I always had trouble when using a snaffle of my horses being heavy on it. Being stiff with their front feet, not wanting to engage their hind legs. So just like everyone else, I made a snaffle mouthpiece meaner, tried all kinds of martingales, and dropped nosebands, to no avail. But, when I listened to what every horse was telling me, I designed the
