14th/15th Century Medieval Stirrup - Stirrup421 oct23 The rowels of the straightThis is a single iron stirrup. It is in excavated condition with a dark stable surface. It is triangular in outline. There is a curved section attached to the top bar. The broad tread is flattened . There are losses to the edge of the tread and a small hole in the tread. The stirrup has an old collection or museum tag stamped 7 Dimensions : 5" (13. 5cm) x 5" (12. 5cm) x 1" (4. 2cm)Weight : 5oz (162g)
