Port Orford Cedar Droptop Solid Body Guitar Top, Bright and Expressive Sound, Eco-Friendly, Sustainable Guitar Wood (KN52) acoustic 54 x 7 3/4 xPort Orford Cedar is a beautiful wood for luthiers to use in building solid body guitars. It has a tone that is a little darker and earthier. The wood will darken to a butterscotch color with age and exposure to light. We recover our Port Orford Cedar on the Southern Oregon Coast. The areas that the trees are removed from are replanted with new trees making this a very eco friendly and sustainable guitar wood. The cool wet air of the Oregon Coast
