The original Urge bass was Fenders first signature bass model, in collaboration with virtuoso player Stu Hamm (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani). This particular model dates to 2000 and is the second revision, after the original versions run from around 1993 to 1999. The Urge II is composed of an alder body in combination with a bolt on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. A fingerboard radius of 9. 5" is present, as is
