Great Horned Owl Balsa Ornament bracelet They can taste the fruitThe great horned owl is named for the tufts on its head that look like horns. Their ears are found on the side of their heads, one higher than the other for depth perception, and they can hear things up to 10 miles away! Made out of sustainably harvested balsa wood, these lightweight ornaments are hand carved and then painted with non toxic acrylic paint by a cooperative of skilled artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua.
