I set up my easel, on the Stray opposite the famous Montpellier Quarter to paint part of this very well known street and captured the plethora of Crocuses and buildings, finishing it off in my Dove Tree Art Gallery. I used gouache, a thick, opaque watercolour paint which is great for depicting detail and lent itself to this scene.
