Algueira, Pizarra 2021 750ML Bundle graphite and cedar wood justThey kept the 2021 Pizarra in their portfolio, produced using grapes from different vineyards on slate rich soils, one of them Carballocobo, and includes some 15% each Brancellao and Cao grapes from younger vines, which makes it livelier. Like many other reds, it was produced partly with full clusters that were foot trodden and with indigenous yeasts in troncoconic French oak vats and matured in 225 liter barrels and 2,000 liter foudre for 18 months.
